This Privacy Policy explains how Handz-in (the "Service"), operated by Yaeger Solutions Incorporated ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information.

Information We Collect

Information you give us directly:

• Account information: first name, last name (optional), email address, mobile phone number, password
• Profile information: your chosen avatar
• Content you create: circles, events, proposed plans (GNOs), RSVPs, and chat messages within your circles

Information collected automatically:

• Basic technical and usage data needed to operate and secure the Service (such as timestamps and general activity logs), handled through our hosting provider

We do not currently collect precise location data, and we do not use advertising trackers.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Let you create and participate in circles, events, and plans
• Show your name, avatar, and activity to other members of circles you belong to
• Communicate with you about the Service (such as invite notifications)
• Maintain the security and functioning of the Service

How Your Information Is Shared

With other members of your circles. This is core to how the Service works — your name, avatar, messages, RSVPs, and events you add are visible to other members of any circle you belong to.

With service providers who help us operate the Service. Currently this includes:

• Supabase (database, authentication, and storage)
• Vercel (application hosting)
• Resend (transactional email delivery, e.g. password-reset emails)

These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

We may disclose information if required by law, such as in response to a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public.

Business Transfers

If we are ever involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. If this happens, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (such as an in-app notice or email) and this Privacy Policy will continue to govern how your information is used unless and until it is replaced by an updated policy.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app. When you do:

• Your login credentials are permanently removed.
• Your profile is anonymized (shown as a generic placeholder) rather than deleted outright, so that past shared content (like circle chat history) remains intact and readable for other members — the same way it would if you simply left a circle.
• If you own a circle, you'll need to transfer ownership to another member before you can delete your account.

Children's Privacy

Handz-in is not directed at, or intended for use by, children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn that we've collected such information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 16 has created an account, please contact us at handz-in.support@yaegersolutions.com.

Your Choices

• You can update your profile information (name, phone, avatar, password, email) at any time from Preferences within the app.
• You can leave any circle at any time.
• You can delete your account at any time, as described above.
• Some optional features (such as birthday reminders, if enabled) can be turned on or off per circle.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including relying on industry-standard security practices provided by our infrastructure partners (Supabase and Vercel). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you (such as an in-app notice). The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
